IIUM Nasyeed Club bagged second place in the Nasyid competition organized by the Majlis Kebudayaan Universiti-Universiti Malaysia (MAKUM) in the Festival Kebudayaan Universiti-Universiti Malaysia (FEStKUM) 2022 on 19 - 23 December 2022 at Dewan Besar, PKKSSAAS Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). 

This festival was also participated by five clubs under CiTRA IIUM namely IIUM Acoustic Band, IIUM Malay Language and Literature Club (MALLIC), IIUM Gamelan Gema Gansa, IIUM Andeka Caklempong, and IIUM Percussion Club. Among the contested events are Pertandingan Sayembara Puisi, Rentak Bitara, and Pertandingan Nyanyian Solo Lagu Melayu Asli
