Alhamdulillah. The 'Flag-Off' event for the Al-Abrar Flagbearers Ride for World #QuranHour (WQH) 1444H has been completed by Prof. Dr. Akmal Khuzairy Abd. Rahman, Deputy Rector (Student Development and Community Engagement) representing IIUM, around 10:45 this morning.

The team from the Alumni Relations Division IIUM, led by the Director, Tuan Hj. Mir Azrul Shaharudin also worked with the World #QuranHour (WQH) team from the start to finish to ensure the event ran smoothly.

For the record, this event is in conjunction with the World #QuranHour (WQH) 1444H program which will be organized on 13 April 2023 (Thursday) at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque (SHAS), IIUM Gombak. The convoy of bikers was also joined by Br. Vince Focarelly who is a convert and former leader of the Comanchero Motorcycle Club.
