GOMBAK - "We need to have a dream to work for ourselves and build business" advised, Mr Amer Bukvic, CEO of Bosna Bank International.

Mr Amer, who is currently also holding a position  as a member of IIUM Boards of Governers had the chance  to share the knowledge on the leadership and entrepreneurship, at Alumni Lecturer Series on Monday.

As a part of IIUM alumnus who graduated in 1996, he stated that, in Bosnia,most political leaders were from the IIUM alumnus.

He emphasized on the importance to have the entrepreneurship knowledge and skills in the university.

"That is why we need IIUM  to concentrate on entrepreneurship and  from the entrepreneurship,we can create the cycle of value" said Amer to the audience.

He also added "most successful people start from nothing,the real success comes from the bottom up,you need to be creative and be determined".

The Alumni Lecture Series  was organised by Alumni Relation Division IIUM with joint collaboration between Department Of Political Sciences and Department Of Accounting.

Mr. Amer Bukvic' is IIUM alumnus from Bosnia and Herzegovina and he  was listed as one of the world's 50 most influential leaders in the Islamic economy according to "Islamica 500" for 2018.
