Ibadah Camp 2014 for IIUM Rectory Offices was held for four (4) days of which consist two (2) days activity of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which were held on 02nd and 04th Dec 2014 at Zoo Negara, Hulu Klang Selangor and followed by two days of Ibadah Camp program at Agrotek Garden Resort, Hulu Langat Selangor from 19th Dec until 20th Dec 2014.

The first activity which was CSR was launched by the Honorable Rector of IIUM, Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Zaleha Kamarudin. Staff of IIUM Rectory Offices be a volunteer at Zoo Negara to help improve animal welfare and be involved in the process of teaching and improving various aspects of animal welfare. We helped to fed animals, cleaned surroundings, raise awareness on conservation efforts. This program was very interesting to experienced what it feels to work in a zoo and what it takes to maintain animals in good health.

The second activity of Ibadah Camp were two (2) sessions of talk and it was started with the first talk entitle “Towards Islamic Personality: Our Roles as Staff of IIUM” and second talk was “Development of Islamic Personality in Present Day Society: Problems and Prospects”. Knowledges were shared not only by the speakers but also by other participants as well as additional knowledges were input during and after the sessions. Participants of the talk highly benefited from the talks conducted during the Ibadah Camp.

Other programs conducted during the Ibadah Camp were Tilawah Al-Quran, Lesson from Al-Hadith, Qiamullail, Fajr Tazkirah (The Siginficant of Dhikrullah), “Sukaneka”, Explorace and Rectory Offices Grand dinner. All these programs were conducted in the spirit of instilling the concept of Ibadah in Islam among the staff. The 2014 Ibadah Camp would like to congratulate all participants of the program and hoping that the upcoming programs to be conducted by IIUM Rectory Offices in the upcoming future will benefited participants as much as these programs did. We would also like to congratulate to all working committees who had directly or indirectly contributed towards the success of the program.
