On 31st January 2019 a site visit to perkampungan Orang Asli was conducted and led by Deputy Dean Student Affairs, Alumni & Community Engagement & Dr 'Atiah Abdullah Sidek with collaboration with Dr Nor Zalifa Zainal Abidin, the lead advocate of Orang Asli IIUM, Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli dan Orang Asli Batu 12 leaders.

The visit was conducted to plan and synchronise activities in Kulliyyah of Engineering to promote sustainable solutions to aid this marginalised group.
