Science & Technology Research Institute for Defence (STRIDE) is a division under Ministry of Defence, Malaysia.  STRIDE's primary roles are to implement research and development programmes, provide technical support as well as scientific expertise to the Ministry of Defence, the Malaysian Armed Forces and the local defence industry.

 

AREAS OF COLLOBORATION

The scopes of the responsibilities of the Parties for the purpose of the Project are set out as below:

  • To apply a smart decentralize systems on ASVs for maritime applications
  • To develop a multi-agent ASVs system that meets the military requirements;
  • To analyse the performance of prototype ASVs at selected military zone area in Malaysia;
  • To study the effectiveness of the intelligent systems developed for ASVs in tropical marine environment application.
