Gombak – After a series of visits to various kuliyyahs in the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dzulkifli Abdul Razak has conducted a Strategic Visit at the Conference Room of Kuliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) recently.

This event was attended by The Dean of KICT, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Rahman, Deputy Deans, heads of departments, senior officers and administrators of KICT to listen to the inspiring speech given by the Rector.

The main objective of this visit is to expand the Rector’s new vision of change, as well as rectifying intentions and internalizing good Islamic values as a stepping-stone towards success.

During the visit, the Rector has mentioned on how to make changes to IIUM according to their preferences and expertise. He further added that none of this would be viable without the cooperation and collaboration between kuliyyahs in order to make a significant change.

“However, to change without diverting from the essence of education, I'm proposed that changes should be made according to the framework of the National Education Philosophy.”

Meanwhile,he has also urged staffs of KICT to open their minds with respect to Islam so that non-Muslims are able to participate in realizing the new vision of IIUM and the Ummah.

“With the open-mindedness of the IIUM community, they will hold a bright future for the revival of a ‘true’ Islamic university.”He added.
