IIUM has improved its position in the QS World University Ranking 2019. The University is now ranked at 651-700 competing with 1230 institutions all over the world.

This achievement has also secured the University at the 10th place in comparison to other Malaysian universities. The Deputy Rector (Academic and Industrial Linkages), Prof. Dr. Isarji Hj. Sarudin said that the University is continuing its effort to improve the reputation as the Premier International Islamic Research University at the same time increasing the University’s global visibility.
