                                 VISIT IIUM GAMBANG CAMPUS

The visit was aimed at establishing an OSHBE unit in Gambang Campus. Discussions were held with Mr. Murshid bin Kassim, Dean of the Center for Foundation Studies (CFS) and Assoc. Prof. Lar. Dr. Mohd Ramzi Bin Mohd Hussain, Director, Occupational Safety, Health and Built Environment Department (OSHBE).

According to OSHBE's director, this is the best time to set up this unit as it is very important for the campus to manage safety and health matters, especially for staff and students. At the same time, CFS Dean feels that this is a very important matter that needs to be 'accelerated' in order to 'strengthen' the administration and welfare of this campus especially in the aspect of safety and health. 

The discussion was also attended by Mr. Hj. Mir Azrul bin Shaharudin, Director of the Center for Foundation Studies (CFS), Mohd Ariffin Bin Ghazali, Head of Department of OSHBE unit Kuantan as well as Muhamad Hasrul Erwan Bin Nyak Hussain, also representative of OSHBE unit Kuantan.
