Dr Aidi Aswadi Bin Halim Lim is an interventional and diagnostic radiologist. He obtained his basic medical degree (MB ChB) from the University of Bristol in United Kingdom in 2010. Following a short stint of working in the United Kingdom, he came back to serve the country and subsequently obtained his Masters in Radiology (MMED Radiology) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2020. He ontained his Fellowship in Interventional Radiology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia under the mentorship of the esteemed Assoc Prof Nur Yazmin Yaacob.
The Kuantan born and bred doctor has a keen interest in Interventional Oncology, particularly minimally invasive trans-arterial embolization of tumors and tumor ablations. He is also an expert in vascular access devices and dialysis interventions - including and not limited to; permanent catheter management, central venoplasty and fistuloplasty. Endovascular hemorrhage intervention is another of his forte, offering minimally invasive treatment to life-threatening conditions.
He is a member of various national and international interventional and diagnostic radiology societies; including Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (MYSIR), Asian Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR), Korean Society of Radiology (KSR), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and European Society of Radiology (ESR). He is also currently a visiting Interventional Radiologist to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan.
