Expert Profile



Siti Yuliandi Ahmad is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Tourism. She holds a Diploma in Marketing, a Bachelor of Consumer Studies (Finance), and a Doctorate of Consumer Science (Finance). She completed her PhD within three years, demonstrating her dedication and acumen.


She is on the editorial board for Jurnal Pengguna Malaysia and an active member of the Malaysia Consumer and Family Economy Association (MACFEA). She has been a tutor at Universiti Putra Malaysia under the course Financial Advising in 2016. She also participated in community service with Wilra Berhad to educate children with financial education at Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) for underprivileged children.


Siti Yuliandi Ahmad teaches courses related to the Fundamental of Economics, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Research Methodology and also Data Analysis and Interpretation. She is truly impassioned about providing students with a stimulating and positive learning environment. She employ a variety of instructional strategies, including lectures, discussions, group tasks, and case studies.


Her research interests are consumer behaviour and personal finance. She has published several articles in journals with peer review and presented at international conferences. She is also actively involved in a number of research initiatives, including financial education, financial literacy, and consumer financial security at the national level.
